It's very small holds 2 1/2 cups of liquid. I'm more intrigued by the unusual mark.

Read about angel touchmark here !! Does it have any other marks other than this ??  Since this is a quality mark rather than makers touchmark,, need something else to identify it !!
Its spun pewter so not too old !!

It's a spurious version of that mark.

It doesn't have a handle. I also knew it wasn't "old old" just the interesting mark. The one that is by Mark Rein Zinn is very similar. From what I have read, the N Sth comes from French meaning set free what was bound. It also is used to describe a very high grade metal used in Salomon ski bindings? Still have found no similar items though. What was its intended use? Hhhmmmmm?

It's not the mark Greenacres has linked to, although it is similar, and Rein Zinn is not a maker.

Also, this mark appears to have been applied a couple of times - notice the shadow line and the right half of the outer circle slightly of line. The angel's right foot develops in to the bottom half of another S

Think this is the closest we'll find

If you wish to continue searching, try using Ore Angel Michael in various forms.

Thanks. That is the mark with different initials. I have looked closer and to me it looks like the foot isn't an S but a symbol. Like one seen in Egyptian or Greek the sickle. Which makes sense since that symbol represents lead or metal
