Small silver box?

I got this little box in a huge auction estate lot. The Top says "ILPS" "gegent" "ICF" "1674" and on the sides it has "*" stamped on the lid and bottom piece. Can anyone tell me a little more. I found a couple things but maybe with a little help I can figure out if I have something special or just cool

Check this out... Probably at least 200 years old based on the amount of garbage that was in the dumpster around it.

I see where one sold on eBay a couple of weeks ago for $17+...and then I see where one was on for 483.98 CAD. Looks like it's either pretty good, or pretty damm good! :)

Here's the description of the one for big money. Sounds like the same box.

Wonderful antique sterling silver box. It has is floral shaped and has a very old dated decorated lid. It has what looks like and English or French royal crest "ILPS Genant, 1674".
It is marked on top and bottom with * mark. It is silver.
Gilt interior.
Approx 1 3/4" diameter, 5/8" high.
Great condition Fantastic design.
It weights 25.6 grams. Truely a wonderful piece.

Yeah I saw the one that sold for 17 and the guy just put it up there with no info on it... I messaged him to see if he could do me a fav and contact the buyer to see if they knew more about it. I also saw the higher priced posting, the museum posting, and an other but some had no pictures just spot on description...

What I found was that its Dutch,, stands for "International League of Peoples Struggle" !!  But looked up the meaning of genant  and it means "embarrassing" !!  Doesn't really fit but may have a secondary or common meaning that wasn`t listed !!  Just google "Dutch ILPS" and there is info but my computer is so slow I didn`t wait on it !!

 I Must say cmlindb love your avatar my family are big fans of anything zombie related!! I think we own every zombie movie made to date!!  Nothing better than a bucket of popcorn and a good zombie flick!!

I love zombies also but I also know that it is most likely not going to happen.... remember there is a difference between zombie lovers and weird zombie preppers...
