i have what i believe is a rare slot car and really cant find any info on it except one or 2 sold a while ago at auction and the only price i cxan find is on worthpoint. i dont really fell like having to use a credit card  for a one time use.

EDIT..its the same car
http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-revell-ferrari-squalo-555-291658147

I would ask here about your Revell

http://www.slotforum.com/forums/index.php?s=34f4b8a5d70cfa9d89431f9c9808e3ff&showforum=38

An unmade but parts missing Hubley TR-3 kit recently went unsold on Ebay at $19.99
Another partly made sold for $5

Doesn't sound too valuable

If you will put your car model in the ebay search,,then when they come up look at the top and you will see sold listings and completed listings !!  Click on the sold listings and you can see those that have sold and the price,, completed listings will give all,, sold and those that didn`t sell !!

its no good saying it looks like this one or that one...if you show us a pic or two of yours we might be able to help more....a pic of the underside would be most helpful..

Yeah

The thing is, they had these as kits so it could have been constructed and painted in a different colour.
Is it the same model ? The Squalo was a 553, then there was the Super Squalo 555.

Four Revell slot cars, including a Ferrari, recently sold for £100. A Revell Ferrari diecast sold for £260

You have to be sure the Worthpoint description is correct -he may have been wrong ( ebayers often are ) and that you do have an identical car in another colour.

i was mistaqken the Revell is Silver and not red(i got it confused with a different one)

the link i posted is the exact same car, the only reAson i posted the link with that pic was for ease..since it is the same car just NIB

im pretty sure the car is the diecast one and not a kit car cause its obvious it was factory made and not like hand painted or anything like that

260$ is alot more then i would have thought if worthpoint is where you got that number

It wasn't on Worthpoint and it was a different model Ferrari, not a Squalo. Proper metal diecast and yours doesn't look like that.

You might be better off taking pictures with your cell phone. Those have so much glare.
