HA  ;D ..... and when I looked at the picture I wasa thinkin ...... now that could be used for preparing "hotdogs" at a street fair, ..... a highway rest area or any type of local shindig. Back when I was a member of the Lions Club we did that as a "fund raiser".

Great Rauville, you beat me to it!  Figured that was what the scoop was for and the top was a basin.  But haven't seen one in years!!!!!  Also the ones I have seen in the past were on wheels.


ALSO  ALSO  ALSO....I must note....that I have seen one of these used for boiled peanuts in the south!!!!  Yummilicious!!!
