 This might sound dumb, but why do some reproductions,or prints have different writing on the front,and border when others don't? The exact painting. I bought one yesterday and I've been looking for it.Every one I see has no border and the print on the front is different. Also prices different, like 10.00 to 400.00. Im still looking for mine.

I'll take a picture of it. The woman I bought it off of said she had it for yrs. She just wanted the frame so she sold me the picture at her yard sale.  Theres nothing on the back.

stop yakking and give us a pic.... Sorry it took so long, I had to resize the pics. I believe its suppose to be green mine mine is blue. You can see a green streak going down the middle of it. DIDNT MEAN TO PUT 2 MINES IN IT All the other ones I saw just had print in the middle at the bottom. I don't even know what it said. But they were going super cheap.

Yes it looks like mine but where is the border and the rest of the printing on the bottom.Thats what I was asking about. It dosent effect the value one way or another? Thank you for searching for me. And mine is 22 by 28  or vice versa

If a piece of art is in the public domain,, there are no rules about how it is reproduced !!  And it can be copied and sold by numerous publishers !!  They don`t have to be identical to the artwork itself !!  Publishers can do whatever they wish,, change the color or anything about it !! Public domain means that all copyright protection has run out and was not renewed by the artists estate !!  That's why you see variations !!
