Six White Horses Original Facsimile Copy?
« on: July 15, 2013, 09:07:18 pm »
I purchased this copy of Four Days today and it had an old newspaper clipping from the Pittsburgh Press dated Jan 25 1964 and an old original facsimile copy of a poem named "Six White Horses" by Candy Geer who was 15 at the time when she wrote the poem while watching the Kennedy Procession on TV.

I think I've read Candy Geer brought the poem to school were it was well liked an other students copied the letter and one was sent to a radio station who read it and thousands of people requested copies of the poem and eventually a book deal was made and about 55,00 copies of the book were sold.

I was trying to find out if this was an Original Facsimile Copy of the poem or was it just a hand written version of it that was made and copied later? I haven't found any good references for the hand written original poem or a good contact email.

Thanks!
Kevin
