Hey, I am trying to find out any information I can about a vintage toy called "Multiflex". It comes in a boardgame-like cardboard box. It says the name, gives some directions, and says "Made in U. S. A.". There is no information given on the maker or age. If anybody can find anything out about it, I would like to know anything, particularly value.

In the box are wooden blocks of different shapes an colors. They have small holes drilled into them where pipe cleaners can be inserted to build things.

The directions on the inside of the lid are as follows:

DIRECTIONS
for
MULTIFLEX
The construction toy of unlimited possibilities

All we need is a pair of scissors and we will have fun galore.
Let's make that funny looking man with skis on the front cover:

First, cut a piece of flexiwire about 2" long, put the hat on, then the
face, and push the lower end of the wire into the top hole of the body. For the
scarf cut a piece of wire about 3" long and twist it around our man's neck. --
Now let's make the arms and the ski poles. First, cut a piece of wire about 5"
long, stick it into the armhole of the body, put the bead for the hand on and bend
the wire in a right angle. Do the same for the second arm. -- For the legs cut
wire 3" long, put it into the leghole of the body, string the 3 beads on and put
the lower end into the hole in the middle of the ski. Do the same for the second
leg and here is our man, all ready and smiling.

and how about making an airplane, a giraffe, a bird, a tank?
LET'S TRY!
If you run out of flexiwire, just go and get some pipe cleaners.
Made in U. S. A.

And that's all the information on the box. Any help learning about this very cool toy would be much appreciated!
Pictures to follow.
