Looking for any info on this Princo thermometer

Hoping someone might know what this was used for or any info on it at all. Its 5 inches across and 6.5 inches long. Thanks!

with it having the probe.this would have been used for checking temp..of..possibly something being cooked...

This company made precision instruments ,thermometers, barometers, ect, for medical, engineering and industrial use !! They were in business till the 70`s not sure how much later but they may still be around !! Try looking for a catalogue  !!  The probe on yours doesn`t have a point so sticking it in a brisket might be difficult !!  Figuring out what this one out of many was used for is not an easy task !! Just call it an industrial thermometer !!
