just thought i,d share with you, a recent...purchase.. .that i made...it was yesterday....it a fully working radio controlled Type V11b..U-boot...model, she,s 57in long,7in wide and 14in to the top of the periscope,..she cost me £400....or approx $600....and as you can see she looks fantastic....the guy who built her,has made a great job of weathering her......oh,..and before anyone asks,.... Avril does,nt know yet..... ...but she soon will,...as it won,t go into my den,...Wonder if she,ll let me put it on the mantle piece

Does that actually operate above and below the surface?  I think it is fantastic. I would not ask to put it on the mantle. It is too far to fall if Avril has an issue with it.

Does it fire torpedoes? I could use something to clear out jet skiers when I go fishing

this one does,nt but,..a friend of mine has one that does fire torpedoes....and he has them fitted with rc gear, and can even fit a small charge in the warhead whereby they explode on contact...the technology is here...there is very little that can,t be done nowadays....
