I messed up at 2:30 this am. I wanted to take video of the meteor shower, so I took the camera out side, turned it on,hit record and came in and went back to bed. woke up at 5:30 and it was pouring rain. I have had it in front of the fan all day. it dryed out but when I take a pic half the pic is black. Just paid 125.00 for it july 8. And didn't even have a meteor shower. I wont be able to get another for about 2 wks now. I'll keep looking at your sight tho. Just thought i'd tell you my sad story

That other camera had built in flash. This one don't. Do I need to use the flash for the meteor shower.

Just thought i'd tell you my sad story A bag of uncooked rice normally does the trick for things like that, or those little bags of silica gel.You may think you've dried it but it could still be damp inside
