Crested China - Swan China
« on: August 14, 2013, 10:23:21 pm »
I believe Crested China is the proper term for these. At the resale shop there was a box of about 200 of these. W H Goss,Carlton Ware, and more.
I'm starting to think these are older.
Bought 5 and this is the first.
 Swan China
2 5/8 inches high
28?   12 are the numbers on this.
The only info I found on a quick search for Swan china is Charles  Ford, 1900-04 for the swan mark.  Is this correct?

Thank you,

Yes. Generally Edwardian and George V period these are. Masses and masses of them.

More popular ones are tanks and military themes, cricket and sporting equipment, cats and owls.

There are some black cats and more " non p-c " gollywogs that can do much more money
