I need help, dealing with a pair of Celluloid sunglasses from the late-30's!

I've recently acquired a French-made celluloid sunglasses from the 1930's. Made by the Royal Plastic company.

However, this is my first time to deal with Celluloid plastic sunglasses, any advice when it comes to wearing them as daily sunglasses? They seem to be in very good condition, no scratches on the frames, even the extremely flat glass lenses are clean! No chipping or scratches!

HOWEVER, I've noticed some bubbles inside the frames, particularly at the lower portion of the plastic... is this something I must worry about? Or are they good for some responsible fun under the sun?

If these are for you and not resale,,You can coat any bubbling with clear fingernail polish,, that will help !! Some of the early plastics will literally crumble if exposed to excessive heat over long periods so don`t leave them in your car in summer. Other than that, I see nothing wrong with wearing them as long as they are in good condition !!

Hahaha oh okay! thanks Mart! Nervous but will attempt to! These are for personal use, and the first time I wore them, felt like I was in the set of The Great Gatsby! (though that was set in the 20's). Hopefully this piece will be around for decades to come!
