Having blown it up, I'm still pretty certain it is a P, but looks like it's taken a bit of a knock so it looks split

Nope. On the photobucket site you can enhance it twice.

It's also an ampersand, not a full stop

When it was struck, the whole logo wasn't imprinted!

Can't find a partial on file like this.  Maybe someone else will....

I think it's a retailers mark and not listed on the hallmarks / assayers sites.

It's not really relevant to the value anyway. Pretty standard late Victorian scent bottle

Perfume bottle you ask... O.K. here's a stupid question.... Did you smell it?  Usually if perfume was in it the scent lasts decades.

They are most definitely old perfume bottles, with or without the scent, but it's a bonus that it is sweet!   ;)

As rough looking as the silver covered appears...and the unusual design...I am betting this one fit inside a glass piece or other covering.

What is the size of it?
