Help identifying these vintage German Scissors?
« on: September 22, 2013, 01:35:25 pm »
Hi all.  I have here a pair of vintage Solinger Wertarbeit Scissors.  They have K & M Germany inscribed on them.  Does anyone know what kind of scissors these are?  Any information would be helpful.  Thanks!

Look like a good quality pair of "poultry shears".

Thank you!  What threw me was the name "Solinger" as I have only seen the name "Solingen" on German scissors.

Mart, I laughed out loud on your comment!  Yes they are poultry shears.  VERY GOOD BRAND BY THE WAY!!!

I was a given a very nice, expensive pair at one time (and couldn't give them back).  So I regifted them.

Yepper, good butcher knife is all you have time for in a working professional kitchen or a working kitchen for a large hungry family!  :)
