Hello,i have this chair that was giving to me by my old boss,she said it was a monk chair?

ive done a search for monk chair,and it dosent resemble the chair i have in any way.The chair itself has short legs,and a tallish back,its very nice but cant find any info about it. i suppose overall its about 3 feet high,seats about a foot from the ground i probably havent described it very well(i can provide a phot if you want). has anyone heard of a monk chair.Thank you
