Waters Aurola company history - "In the 20th Century, Horace Waters produced pianos under the names of Horace Waters & Co., Waters, and Chester. He also produced a line of player pianos under the name "Waters Autola". Horace Waters went out of business in about 1949."

Open up the piano and there should be a metal plate in the piano that will have a serial number imprinted into it.  It may also have the date.

I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
