Chair values? I don't know where to start

We have several chairs (I can't explain it - we are addicted to chairs).  I don't know where to start to research what they are worth.  I'm not great at describing things to find them online I suppose.  Does anyone know anything about this one?

It appears to be a mid century variation on the spindle backed Windsor chair !!  Because of the placement of the spindles,,don`t think this would have been too comfortable !! Is anything marked on the bottom ?? Maybe a style number ??

I used to find table and chair sets from the 50's with a similar "Windsor type" style. Many of them would have painted stenciled designs. At the time I'd price a complete set at around $200 or so. A single chair might bring $25 in my area.

Well, i don't know about that now, I have seen single chairs sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, more rarely, millions. Of course, it has to be a pretty special chair, no doubt.

Yeah, I remember that QA stool. Albert Sack paid to much as everyone thought it was the only one in existence that was not in a museum. As often happens, a similar form QA stool appeared on the market within a year and sold for less than half the 5 mil Sack paid.

The man who purchased that stool, Albert Sack, is an icon in the American furniture world and, very much lived in the real world until recently. He passed away in 2011 while at home in North Carolina, he was 96 years old.

I can see you and i are never going to see eye to eye on..anything...i say chalk you say cheese...but if you think that  this icon of "American Furniture lived in the real world..then..more fool you....now if he had thought about, donating the purchase price of that ugly stool, to charity..then ..you could say he thought about the real world...but .....he,d rather have that...the mind boggles.....
