I certainly wasn't here back then. ;D  Sometimes I add my 2 cents, just because no one can stop me from doing it. haha  Actually, I had to do a speech today and someone asked if I could speak up.  I have never been accused of being too quiet before. lol Very strange.

I was looking for info when I found this Forum and my 1st post was on November 27, 2007, which was this one at http://www.antique-shop.com/forums/index.php?topic=3264.0

on page #469 at  http://www.antique-shop.com/forums/index.php?board=2.9360

and as you can see if you click the above link there were lots of question being posted but very few responses. Then in late Dec 2007 D&B Antiques started answering questions again ….. and then it must have been in March 2008 I offered my first advice on a question.

And then the activity really picked up in April 2008 when most questions were being responded too by a few of us who were willing to offer advice.

On Page #454 only 2 questions were not replied to.

And from then on, as they say, ….. the rest is history.

Anyway, whether I did or not, I like to think that I helped get this Forum “kick-started” to being the great Forum that it now is.

I joined in November 2008 and at that time there were 5 regulars (all wonderful men including the creator of the site) that would come on and answer questions...and would only answer on items that they were knowledgeable about - which is a good thing.  I can remember seeing the shift from a slow forum to a active forum and seeing so many of you joining and adding your spark to the forum!

On myyyyyy...not only old in real life but old on the forum!  :)
