Where did you get these ??   Rauville,,,where are you with your book ???  My first impression is they look like part of a brake to something !!  Are they fixed ?? Nothing moves ??  May be way off !!

Salvage store. They weren't sure what they were either. The wooden parts do turn.

On the 2876 pic that part at the top looks like a coated brass !! When I enlarged it,, it had some brassy yellow patches !!

Just looks like rust to me. Someone told the store owners they were pedals for an old pump organ but I thought they'd be closer together if they were and the one wouldn't be so much longer than the other.

In that last pic it does look like rust !! Could have been just how the light hit it on the other one that made it look yellow !!  They may be from an organ,, I have never seen one torn apart to know how they look !!

Nah, not for an organ. Too much iron.

Probably from an old piece of manufacturing equipment/machine. Like a sheet metal break or vice where the worker could set his foot on to hold something in place, ........ to engage a drive pulley, ...... or whatever. ??? ???

I have to agree with cogar on this one....looks like some type of machinery part!
