World War II - V for Victory photo - Look familiar?
« on: December 01, 2013, 08:15:45 pm »
Hi, friends!

Stumbled across this photo that is displayed in a high-end frame (which got me to thinking).

On the lower, left-hand corner there is a printed statement:  V for Victory (and, underneath it, three dots and a dash).

On the lower, right-hand corner the initials H.V.R. appear with the copyright symbol.

Found in an estate; dearly departed has no known military service.

Any thoughts?

Albatross is a military plane. That might have something to do with it.
