Value of ornate bench?
« on: December 15, 2013, 07:19:04 pm »
Hello,

I receive this bench as a gift from my dad several years ago from his estate sale during his divorce (don't ask). Anyway, I have no attachment to the bench and have since lost space to justify having such an ornate object in our home that we don't use. I have looked online and talked to some local antique dealers and have had no real luck on pricing the item. There are no obvious markings or tags and I know that it has been in our family for at least the last 25 years. If anyone could assist me I would appreciate it!

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Not an antique; it looks like a "neo rococo revival" item from SE Asia or the Phillipines ca. 1970s or 80s. Not much value in these parts, maybe $50-$100.
