What does this mark mean???

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me to read this mark on the sauce boat. I believe it's over 100 years old and it may come from Germany or Austria but I am not 100% sure.
I'd really appreciate if someone could help me to read it. It looks like there are two crossed flags with letter "M" on the top and letter "S" on the bottom. Please see attached photos.

Looks like its a Carlsbad mark from Czechoslovakia...th e M ...may be an H....as in H S..see link..then click page 2  scroll down to  3rd line

Don`t know Wullie,, enlarged that looks like an M !!  But its the same mark !!

either you,re needing new cheaters or i am....i can zoom in and i don,t see the centre point of the M...but no worries as its the same mark....

That Karlsbad mark is unrelated to this one.


Has that Bohemian vibe about it though

Well if that mark on. page 2 is unrelated....it comes a close 2nd.....but if it is,nt then .give us your findings...

'H',  not 'M' ...

Porzellanfabrik H. Schmidt (a.k.a. Porzellanfabrik Schmidt & Otremba) from the town of Freiwaldau in Silesia. Registered 1894-May-30 as No.68 at the Royal Court in Sorau and used between 1894 and 1922.

Hey Chris,, how are things ?? Still busy as usual I guess ?? I enlarged that mark and could have sworn it was an M !!
