porcelain praying figurine

I have a porcelain virgin Mary statue where she has on a white dress and a blue robe.  She is kneeling down and praying.  It says Italy on the bottom and the statue is about 12" high.  Does anyone know anything about this piece?

If it just says Italy on the base,,it would likely be an export piece intended for sale in other countries !!  Many items like this are sold worldwide !!  Same as if you went to an import shop and bought one !!
