Ugghhh………is that the same one you guys south of the border are sending our way??  Windchill right now is -32 and going to stay pretty much steady as we look at 24 hours of blizzard conditions  :'(

Just think of how much fun the children will have, sledging..building Snowmen...Snowball fights...coming home with their handies.. freezing...clothes sodden.......then there,s you,...that short run to work..might take a little bit longer...y,know slip sliding along......just watch how you go....your safety comes before anything.... :)

We were told to stay off the roads tomorrow. Now, I don't what that  means to my husband! ;D He keeps watching the weather. He wants to still try to get to work. It makes me nervous. I'm listening and taking my calls at home. :) Good day to stay in. Sorry sapphire, I wish I could have sent you something better. We are lucky we don't live in Michigan.  -47 degrees there.

For all you up in the colder areas,,remember to keep your emergency kit in your car !!  A roll of toilet paper,,a tin (only) coffee can, a 12X12 piece of tin foil and a couple of bottles of alcohol !!~  If you get stranded somewhere it will keep you from freezing to death !!

Nothing to brag about...but this morning it was -25 below zero here. And now they are predicting a "cold front" to move in from Canada!

(I think I'll need Mart's "emergency kit" to use in the house to stay warm. :P)

In the event of a power outage,,a couple of them might heat a small bathroom !! We used to use them as hand warmers when deer hunting !!

Sort of a bun warmer in the bathroom.  In the suburbs today one of the plowmen was killed by a big pile of salt that fell on him.

but this morning it was -25 below zero here.

It is a mild 10F here this morning with wind-blown snow covering up all the covered porch "patio" furniture. Violet will be happy  ;D ;D when she gets up and sees that.
