I just won these. I saw them up for auction the day before. What do you think of them and what would you sell them for?

Interesting. Thanks, Dogaman. They really over spent in that auction. If I look correctly these seem to have a blue aqua tint. I don't think I over paid. I think they're beautiful. My husband thinks I'm selling them, but I'm not sure yet. Lol how many times I've done that! ;D

Are you talking about the ones that sold for $600?  They are Stuben and well worth it but yikes.... ;D

Green,

LOL! I know what you mean. When hubby and I go looking at Carnival Glass, he picks up EVERY piece and calls, "Honey!"  So, no matter where I am in the store, I go over and look. Nine times out of ten, it is a piece of contemporary.

I'll buy contemporary with the intent to eventually resell, but the price has got to be right.  It's the original issued items I'll have a hard time getting rid of. ;)

I really like them a lot. I 'll see when they arrive. I have one more pair I will put up later. These are the pair I may need help with. It makes it hard to determine a value when you see such extreme prices.

Green,

You can take all complete auction prices and average them. Then decide from there.

Well, the 600 throws the numbers out off. They over paid.

;D ;D Like I've told people, iffen you are having a garage sale and you have a 57 Chevy hood ornament on your table with a price tag of $8.75 on it ........ and some dapper dude drives up in a restored 57 Chevy that is missing a hood ornament ....... then you probably have your ornament priced way too low.

Green,

When you do the average auction price paid, you can throw out the highest and the lowest.

Not sure that's wise. Condition is vital. You have to compare yours with the closest matching examples and when they were sold.

Are those on the Ebay listing the ones you have ? They're definitely Steuben ?
