Hi guys.
Bought a box lot of old industrial stuff at an auction last night.
These are a couple things I need help with.
The first is a HUGE pulley/block tackle.
It was made into a nautical lamp by somebody but it was busted up. I took the lamp components off. May rewire it so I can use the holes he unfortunately put into it.
My question is, is there a way to tell if this was indeed a nautical pulley? It is giant. With hook up it is about 19.5". Weighs close to 50 pounds.
The ID plate on the side has a star logo and says "Boston & Lockport Block Co."
The second piece is a large, black GE fan. About 18" fan, so on the larger side. With the ID plate I can't find any info on this model. Any ideas on age or value in non-running condition?
Thanks so much guys!
(Sorry, tinypic will not orient these the right way no matter what I do)
