You are dead on they look exactly like those figures...I wish I knew where to get more info on how old or where this originated...

This is just a guess, but I do not think this is very old. During the rule of tbe last Shah of Persia they were especially proud of their Achaemenid past. I am not sure if they would depict such scenes after the revolution.
