Old Heirloom Bracelet
« on: March 04, 2014, 03:13:06 pm »
I received this bracelet from my grandmother in Scotland before she passed - she told me when she gave it to me that it belong to my great great grandmother (I think?). Curious as to it's origins/ whether or not it's worth something. It's in pretty good condition, tiny crack in one of the stones but otherwise fine.

The clasp is modern, not antique, but it may be a replacement. Look at the end of the gray colored stone that is at the end of the chain, separate from the other stones. I'm betting there is a slot in the setting, where the original tongue and groove clasp used to slide inside. If there is a crack in the stone, I'm guessing they may be made of glass.
