It's Simmon's Bed. 1930's the black would have to go ! they were sold in a dark oak color in enamel paint. presently white is the in thing. internet prices are ridiculos. $500.00 Dollars. But ! with the increase in scrap metal, they are rapidly becoming extinct.

Depression Area piece.  Majority of these were originally brown (faux wood color).  These were made affordable to the masses!

Some of their beds became very elaborate and Simmons' marketing was exceptional for the time.
