Need Help With Large Antique Brass Kerosene Lantern/Lamp

Hey I found this lantern and I cant find any identifying marks on it except the small sticker on the bottom. It is brass and about a foot tall maybe taller. It has a lock plate and the whole top is on a hinge and glass globe.

I am not versed in these pieces at all and would welcome any advice on where to look up information. Hoping someone can recognize the type from the pictures.

Request any other pictures you need if it will help.

Appears to be similar in style to the brass "Nautical" lamps being imported from India today.

Wow, how did those pictures ever load on here?  LOL  They are big!

Agree it looks like a reproduction nautical lantern.  Nice!

The tag says "BC 710" so I have no idea what that could mean. S

Also sorry for the huge pics I didn't realize they were so big when I uploaded them to photobucket

No problems. Just surprised the site did it!  Some have problems loading just 1 or 2 regular size!  :)

That's probably just a style number !! As a repro may have had two or three variations of the lamp and or glass shade !!  Cant see the sticker,, pics too big to load !!
