What are these? Some type of jewelery

Ok, my first of many items.  What are these?    No info on the box or items.  From a New England estate with items from the 1700s thru early 1900s.

Bracelets.  Queen Victoria used to wear matching bracelets on each wrist & it became very popular to do this.  I've not seen many matching sets in their box.  Nice.... any hallmarks that you can show us?  GG

Roderick, is that rubbing on the bracelet / dirt / the light on the image ?

Many of these Victorian belcher style bracelets or chains are not hallmarked but are often gold. 9ct to 14ct usually. What might appear to be a $200 bracelet could be $1000+

Yours looks at least gold plated. Has a lovely patina that suggests a nice Victorian gold

As the other members (that are way more 'quick on the draw') have commented , Sure as heck looks like a matched & presentation-cased pair of Vicky-era ladies' jewelry items for the wrists !
Having the case increases the value a bit too , IMO .

I'd take out a magnifying device of some sort (jewelers' loupe) & check for hallmarks/sigs (everywhere) , just in case .
I'm guessing that you already know , but you can have the gold content determined by a decent jeweler , which is kinda nice to know for certain ....

Saw a pair of cased Tiff ones go for $8500+ in NYC , a few years ago .

I like the nice patina too (O.K. to give it a gentle dry 'toothbrush' brushing if there's 'skin gunk' , but not a polishing , IMO) , as Ipcress noted .

Yes, it appears there is some gold rubbed off, like in picture 2 (3), see the dark spots.  The main piece where the pearl feels and sounds hollow, same for the smaller bracelets.  Looked everywhere on both sets, no hallmarks, these look like they were worn and enjoyed ALOT!  How do I go about getting these appraised?  I do not know of any reputable places around me.  We do need to sell all this stuff.  There is more.

   I want to sell these.  I'm an experienced ebay seller, but not with jewelery.  I will list each pair separately, any ideas on value? I love to start by auctions at .99 but might do a buy it now price.  Should I take these to a jeweler first for an evaluation or do you think straight to ebay will be ok?  Would love to hear all opinions and ideas.
