Army Bag? Used for What?
« on: May 29, 2014, 03:43:15 pm »
I bought this because I think it will be useful for something. The face that it fold over and open to twice its height makes me think it had a specific purpose. Anyone have a clue? It is heavily reinforces with canvas straps on the inside. There are also two places on the inside left and right where something could be tied in the bottom.

Mart,
It is approximately 18" wide x 20" high when opened. It folds down to half of that when closed. The strap in permanently attached on one end and slips into one of those double ring buckles on the other giving it some adjustment. There is also a loop on the back, lower center.
Thanks

haa I find this quite funny, I normally find a reason to buy something before hand..

I am guessing, the material is thick and solid. I agree it can be use to place medicine, something vulnerable (?), easily broken/scratched like camera lens, maybe laptop. This bag quickly reminds me of National Geographic's backpack that tough.

I'll send a pic to my brother/nephew and see what they say.  If they don't know they will take it to the base and have the others help out.

LOL !! I don`t always have a current use for buying an item !! I recently bought a machete because it was an odd one and had a small hook on one side !! Don`t plan on using it now but if I ever need one,, I will have it ready !!
