Mid Century Modern / Atomic ceramic vase identification
« on: June 02, 2014, 06:49:10 pm »
Found this vase the other day. The piece is signed AC or RC, can't really read the initials that are Copyrighted USA. The piece is approximately 8" tall.

Don`t think its mid century,, more likely late 70`s or 80`s !!  That is hand written so it would be an independent potter !! Would be almost impossible with just the initials !! The copyright symbol was used for artistic purposes !! Art is under copyright from the moment of creation !! But the paint technique is different !!

Try  " Pottery Craft ". California based, i think. Lots of their items with this type of glaze. Items usually marked with the  © symbol and USA.

I would say that Pottery Craft out of California is the answer. Thank you for sharing the knowledge.
