Anyone out there familiar with carved teakwood furniture? My family owns an ornately carved teakwood coffee table that was purchased from the Indian embassy in Seattle about 25 years ago. It is a hand carved scene of an elephant logging operation that is exquisitely detailed. The exterior and legs are covered with carved leaves and flowers. We've looked for similar items for some months now but have found nothing comparable. We are interested in history and value. If anyone is familiar with items like this I will upload some pictures. Appreciate any help anyone can give.
