Rarest and hardest to find antiques around the world Japan, German.

Hi
I have a few vintage or antique items. I tried doing my own research but no way i can find them. Does any one in the community have knowledge on these item?
Very nice and active forum, I like it.
Please if any one know what they are, let me know.
The cow is from Japan,
The doll is wooden and its from germany.

The cow is a cast iron trivet !! To sit hot pots and pans on so it doesn`t burn the table !!

Agree totally with Mart, this is a hot plate trivet and could have even doubled as a cutting board.

The doll's mouth and style is like that of Betty Boop from the late 1930's.
