This type of furniture was built using the same machines as Eastlake (retooling is/was expensive) so the form is similar and is sometimes referred to as "cottage" furniture which was usually painted pine, sometimes veneered oak over pine when there were curved drawer fronts & sometimes solid oak when a straight up eastlake form, just no walnut or incised lines that eastlake was known for. It was very popular in the hotel industry at the time as well.
