Appraisal help needed!

I'm a been on here so not sure how stuff works quite yet. My boyfriends dad just inherited a lot of stuff from his mom who had past . We are curious about the value of an old sterling clothing trunk. Not sure what year it is but it's neat looking that's for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can not see the covering well but most are a vinyl covered fiber or cardboard type !! You can correct me if it is different,,!! They run between $50. and $75. most areas !!

believe it is  called a steamer trunk.
