China cabinet

Hi there, I'm interested in a china cabinet very similar to this one: http://rkta.com.au/media/Image/cache/R480600-412-5_1.jpg

I think it's lovely but wondered if anyone could tell me more about this kind of cabinet... I understand it's Chippendale style and possibly late 19th/early 20th century. The one above was valued at 200 to 300 Australian dollars, but the one I'm looking at is priced at nearly double that. Apologies I don't have more detailed images at this time.

The piece you are showing would sell for around 300.00 - 500.00 US dollars here in the northeast. They are very popular as display cabinets for retail especially antiques dealers of smalls like china and glass. You are probably correct as to the date.

frogpatch-do you know makes it chippendale?  Is it the style or the legs?  Or both?

I agree on price and era !!  This style is common to the UK !! Likely where yours came from !!  
Sugarcube mostly the cabriole leg with ball and claw feet common to the Chippendale/Queen Anne revival era !! Queen Anne about the same time,,replaced the ball and claw with the pad foot but same style leg !!

Has the entire back been replaced or was it just relined with something ?? You really want all antiques original or as original as possible but in this case if it isn`t obvious from the front and looks true to the era,, price is about the same  !!
 I have a very similar one but with the Queen Anne foot !!  My mother had one with the Chippendale foot !!  They made a lot of these !!
