The reason it's 2 shades was when I put it through Photoshop it is dirty and in need of a clean it's a beautiful painting so am going to get it done professionally then get it reframed

Are those initials DAW ??  Can we see the back of the canvas ??   Here is the problem,, as  a rule artists do not use initials only !! Only hobbyists do that !! A person who intends to make money at art needs name recognition !!  Without a name on their work no one knows who painted the picture !! How many people in the UK have those same initials ??  See what I mean,, how would you ask a gallery about it ??   Its the name that starts a career not initials !!

windsor and newton began at number 38 in 1833 and took over number 39 in 1860. not much help in identifying the artist and they were a very large supplier.

done a bit of research for you mate, i believe the artist is d h winder, late 19th early 20th century. if you google him you will find examples of his work, the hand looks the same to me, (i'm an artist and collector (of many things!)) they usually sell for a few hundred £s...

That middle letter may be an H rather than an A as I thought !!  The time period would be correct,, the painting is similar io what is known here as the Hudson River School of artists !!   Was it his habit of signing with initials only,, I am not that familiar with UK artists ??

https://www.google.com/search?q=artist,+DH+Winder&biw=1280&bih=596&tbm=isch&imgil=TJ-mZMJmL2YG-M%253A%253B_pgMh9F077PN2M%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.artnet.com%25252Fartists%25252Fd-h-winder%25252Fpast-auction-results&source=iu&pf=m&fir=TJ-mZMJmL2YG-M%253A%252C_pgMh9F077PN2M%252C_&usg=__RgK-hC1foF0ZUwXsePhhXq5PsvY%3D

If you haven`t done it yet,, here are examples of his work !! I agree with AWT that it is the same style and feel !! Look and see if you can find an example of his signature and check the writing !!  Even if signed with full or partial name letters are usually similar !!
There are occasions where an artist will go through different writing styles until they hit on one they like and are comfortable with !!
