Something else I collect
« on: February 26, 2015, 12:49:31 pm »
It may not be a man thing but I also collect sewing machines, but the earlier type such as this Leigh & Crawford. I just love the engineering on these fine pieces. Yes I have Singers mainly Featherweights so prized for quilt making and yes I do use them.

Good for you Wilhenri,

My dad was the sewing person in my house too.  Sad thing is I never really learn to sew well myself because it was so much easier to have him do it.  I still do a messy job even putting a button back on.

Another great item.

My cousin collects sewing machines and our dads could sew better than our moms (which they could sew great!)

Some of the best tailors are men!  :)

Keep up your interests and collection!
