La Belle china platter

Hi,just found your forums on google.My mom has this La Belle platter,and wants to know how old it is,and what it is worth.It has the two eagle heads with a torch in the middle,and the letters W P on it,and it says La Belle china on the back.Thanks for any info.

there is some crazing showing.it was made by wheeling west virginia pottery,in circa.1896. $325.00 dollars.

We want to SEE the marks.  A text description of the mark is not enough.  Many marks sound alike by the written word.  Additionally, little variations in a mark will make a dffierence to the date of the item, thus the value and intrique.  

If you are going to sell this, put photos of the mark in the ad.  The bottom also show the crazing which effects the value and buyers will want to see it.  The more photos, the merrier.  Little ads bring little dollars, or few photos bring few dollars.  

You have GREAT photos of the piece and the mark.

Thanks for the info.I'm not really into the antiques,was just helping my mom find the value of this plate.Thanks for the pic compliment,I'm actually still learning on my digital camera.
