old hand pump

not sure just what this is, would like some info if anyone knows please. new to fourms not sure if im doing this right.
it is some type of hand pump was told it looked like an old fertilizer pump, any help would be appreciated

I an gonna bump the pump here. It looks to me like it was for spraying dry fertilizer but I am not sure. I think Mart might recognize it. She knows a lot about agricultural items.

Given the “hinged” wire loop on the bottom, 2nd picture, for placing one’s foot on when “pumping”, it could be used for pumping most any liquid, ….. water, motor oil, differential oil, etc. from a stationary place, ….. meaning, ….. when spraying insecticides and fertilizers one is always on the move.

Whatever it sprayed, it had to last a long time because that container doesn't look to be easily refilled. (which now causes me to add ........)

OOPS, just loked at pic again, ...... me now thinks its a "tire pump".

New one on me !!  My thinking is more for car/tractor tires  !! Would be a pain for agri-use !!

Good old fashion bicycle tire pump. I have had them. They are a real pain. You step on the foot piece and pump away.
