Are these figurines antique?

Hi all.

I am interested in buying a pair of figurines (the ones in the pic). The shop is selling them as 19th century French bisque figures. They are beautiful - 30cm high, a matt white base with glossy blue and gold accents. I have already bought a very similar pair (but smaller) from the same shop. I have now decided to browse the net for French bisque figures but found nothing similar. I am now unsure whether they are really antique. Can you help please? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the bottom - all I know is that it is hollow as I've seen it. No marks.

I'm attaching a very similar pair of such figurines, but these do not have a hollow base. Their base is relatively flat and they just have a number marked.

Like Sugarcube said ,,a pic of the bottom would help !!  Many times the wear on the bottom will give a better indication of age than just looking at the figurine itself !!  There are so many reproductions of this type figurine that without a makers mark I would not buy it unless dirt cheap !!

No mark at all at the bottom - they are hollow and do not have a flat base where one can leave a mark. I think they are reproduction, though they do not come cheap in my opinion - 200 Euro for the pair.

Thanks Pelady. The strange thing is that I haven't seen any bisque figures in royal blue, white and gold. All seem to be pastel.

May I recommend some searches for you:  Blue White Victorian Figurines, Vintage KPM figurines white blue, etc.

Look under images and not websites.

Thanks for that KC! They're very similar to mine in fact, though mine are not marked except with a handwritten number at the base. The other pair I was looking at (the 1st pic) are hollow and have no flat base. So one cannot know their make, though they are still beautiful (but pricey).

KC, The price was in Euro so is that the conversion ?? 200 euro = $315 USD ?? 

The figurines are most likely not of that age !! Glaze looks wrong,,way too slick/shiny !! No matter how they are made,, I would not buy them !!  For that money you can buy quality !!  Why spend it on something that is not a known piece ??   Quality over quantity is a good rule to use !!

Try looking for "cobalt blue" !!  I found them but could not copy the page !! ,, Old antique computer !!

No 200 euros is  about 215 dollars depending on the days exchange.  Hit the wrong key.
