Hi,

May I ask if anyone can identify the maker of my brass candlestick, it's likely German from the 1920/30's.

Thanks in advance.

May I ask how you came into possession of this?
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

Yes,, I am wondering the same thing !!  Could have easily been made in the concentration camps !!  They processed and made brass artillery shells,, a brass candlestick would not be difficult !!

Hi,

Thank you for your replies, it was one of the pieces auctioned off by his daughter after his passing.

I found Hitlers and Hess's friendship began as early as 1920, is it possible to date the design to the 1920's or 30's?

Thanks again for your time.

I think this very unlikely with it being from the deputy fuhrer to the fuhrer...

Could not read the entire document,, would not enlarge on my computer !! Just read the small notes !!  Yes it could easily date from 20`s or 30`s !!  I would be curious if this was one of a pair,,and why would anyone give a common brass candlestick to Hitler ??  A more expensive item I could see,, but this just seems so ordinary !!
