I have some friend who grew up in Kenya and asked them if they perhaps recognized the signature. Her response was "is a Batik,I do not recognise artist. A lot of people started to do Batiks,emulating a well known artist, Robin Andersen,daughter of a well known doctor in Nairobi.Her work was expensive and very lovely. She also designed many of the lovely Kenyan stamps. But this is not Robin,unfortunately. I have still a few Batiks,done by less well known artists..it is very time consuming work. I will see what I can come up with". Will let you know if she finds anything.
