Vintage rocker

Looking for info in this chair. It's history and value would be greatly appreciated, I'm looking to buy one that matches the one I already have but this one is pricey.

Just from the picture I am seeing it reminds me of the imports coming into Texas in the late 1970's in to the early 1990's.  There were too many to count. I can remember huge import stores in Dallas/Garland area that had warehouses full of several versions of this type chair.  Most came from Mexico, South America and India.
