Painting in my house

I bought a house and a paint was left behind in my daughters room it looks very old. On the back is a sticker saying illinois moulder co. Windsor art with a P198 817 on it mountain meets sky.  I have a picture on my phone just wondering about this painting any info would be great

The Illinois Moulding Company of Chicago was founded by Hungarian immigrant Herman Molner (1866-1951) in 1896. Windsor Art Products was the art publishing division of the company, who under license, would mass-produce original artists' works making "fine" art affordable to all. Herman passed away in 1951, but the company continued until about 1970.

Where the Mountain Meets the Sky is a painting by Robert Wood.  Tons of reproductions.
Here is a website about him. Repros go for about $50

i deal with artwork a lot and unfortanately its a repro. that label on the back is too new and by the back of the painting looks to have a paperback to it which is a red flag. probably worth around 40 to 45 dollars

Thanks for the all the info guys, I wasn't so worried about a rare find my daughter whos 8 thought it was the neatest thing on her wall and I had no clue about it. Thank you once again for all the info

That painting is an excellent way to get your daughter interested in antiques and art !!  It is antique to her and at least vintage to us !!  When she is a bit older it may be worth a little more than the approx. $50. of today !! I would take her to a few antique shops or flea markets and museums !!  Maybe even let her start a small collection of something she likes !! Its always good to encourage these interests !!
