Antique Fireplace 1850's

Hi all,

Need help with the value of this particular fireplace as i am not very skilled in this particular antique and require some honest assistance at your earliest convenience.

Wow, it's beautiful! It would depend upon the type of marble, but even the cheapest original antique marble fireplaces in good condition on eBay start at about $3,000.

The insert is as awesome as the marble surround!  Is it original to the home ?  If so when was the home built?  Otherwise do you know the approximate age of the fireplace?

This looks like those common to the UK !! Fairly small as fireplace surrounds go and the insert appears to be for burning coal rather than wood !!  Not at all sure what they would sell for !!

Nice!  Like the Insert with coal basket!  Don't see those around here.  Would agree it looks European.
