Child's chair
« on: February 28, 2016, 07:08:03 pm »
I have a family children's chair that I thought was from at least 1924.

I found my uncle's baby picture that I thought would help date it and realized it is not the same chair.  Any idea of the age of my chair and estimate on it's value?

Love your family chair Pelady!  I also love the adorable picture of your uncle.  Too bad its not the same chair!  Keep looking at old family photos and maybe you will find one with a different family member sitting in it.  Very cool piece and so well taken care of all these years!

Pelady, I really like the chair also!

We have held on to our family chairs for sentimental value!  (They aren't worth much monetarily.)  They were built with more character than most you see today.  Hopefully have grandchildren some day to use them! 😃

Well thank you ghopper!  I thought that had to do with karma.  I am too use to Facebook and the "like" button.  So now I know!

It does have to do with karma, but I think it's all we've got... :-\
