need help with finding battery for antique Russian clock
« on: March 13, 2016, 10:28:26 am »
Hello everyone,

This is my first post.  Thank you all for considering helping me.

My sister has a old Russian clock but we can't figure out how we can turn it into a working clock.

I have attached photos.  Is there any way we could turn this clock on?  Where would be able to find a battery if its even a battery that it needs!

Thank you all

KC

You might want to contact these people at Klockit!

I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

NWACC.com would be another that would know about it,,(but do not ask for value)  they are information only !! I do not see a place for a battery !! Assuming that these clocks would also have been sold outside of Russia would have to be battery readily available everywhere !!

Cool-looking 'atomic age' clock , kavehh !

I can't really see the lettering (on the face of the clock) very well in your pic .... any chance you could spell the name of the company (located around 12 o'clock) ?

The spring tension battery "clip" is located on left side of 2nd photo.

The battery will have attached wires which are inserted in the "terminals" above the "clip".

Me thinks.  :) :) :)
